The Jenkins Funeral Chapel has been an active participant in the West Shore communities for over 75 years. Our location on Dover Center Road, originally built in 1875, was one of the area's first schoolhouses. It was first remodeled into a funeral home in 1915 to serve your grandparents' families. We operated one of the first local ambulance services --long before emergency services were available in many localities.

Unlike other funeral homes that are part of big, multinational organizations, Jenkins Funeral Chapel is family owned and operated. Jenkins is more than just a business member of the community, we live here, our children go to school here and we share your concerns and interests in the day-today events that shape our community.
